June 10, 2020

Bimonthly Newsletter: Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (MAMPU): Implemented by Cowater International, with funding from DFAT-Australia, the MAMPU Program is working in 27 provinces and over 1000 villages across Indonesia to improve the access of poor women to essential services and other government programs in order to achieve gender equality and women’s empowerment and support the achievement of Government of Indonesia Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets. MAMPU reaches out to marginalized women by working with 13 national civil society organizations and more than 100 local partners to empower women and influence government policies at the local and national levels. MAMPU strengthens Partners’ capacity, expands their networks, and connects them with strategic stakeholders and policymakers.
