Technical Assistance for the Public Finance Management Sector Policy Support Programme for Mozambique

The technical assistance component of the PFM SPSP, implemented by Cowater International (formerly Transtec), supported the PFM policy development capacity of the Government of Mozambique and the management capacity within the key institutions supported by the EU PFM SPSP (namely Centro de Desenvolvimento de Sistemas de Informaééo de Finanéas (CEDSIF) and the Tribunal Administrativo). Under this technical assistance, Cowater International strengthened the Public Financial Management and Revenue Collection capacity and systems within the Government of Mozambique, strengthened the capacity and functioning of the external audit function, supported the beneficiaries of programme grants, and supported key government entities in improving their internal and strategic management capacity.
