Strengthening of Civil Society Organisations – ROSE

This project implemented, by Cowater International (formerly Transtec) is promoting the establishment of an enabling environment for civil society, and to provide support for the coordination and monitoring of the EU engagement strategy with regard to civil society in Tunisia. Through the delivery of this project Cowater will: 1) contribute to the definition of the EU support strategy for civil society, its implementation and its operational monitoring; 2) contribute to the management of a Support Programme for Civil Society and Independent Bodies (PASCII), and to the establishment of synergies with other EU actions in support of the civil society; 3) support public institutions involved with civil society; 4) support Tunisian Civil Society Organizations in their operations and management; 5) strengthen coordination between technical and financial partners; 6) ensure knowledge management and communication on assistance and support for civil society.
