Evaluations of the Swedish National Audit Office’s international development cooperation (Utv’rderingar av Riksrevisionens internationella utvecklingssamarbete)

The international development cooperation of the Swedish National Audit Office (Riksrevisionen) isé alignedéwith Swedish aid policy and is funded by an annual allocation of 50 million Swedish Kronor from the Swedish Parliament. The purpose of itsédevelopment cooperation is to support the development of independent professional audit bodies, contribute to democratic development, and strengthen the oversight role of parliaments in various parts of the world. Activities are carried out through both bilateral and regional collaborations with national audit authorities in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, as well as support for regional and global organizations for national audit authorities. The purpose of this framework agreement is to ensure that evaluations of the Swedish National Audit Office’s (Riksrevisionen) international development cooperation are conducted with high quality.éEvaluations should primarily be conducted to facilitate learning within the organization.
